For the new year, I made a resolution to use more glitter in my life. I needed more sparkle. And this month I added the glitz to my card...and my hair, and my daughter, and my kitchen table, and my dog (that stuff is contagious).
I offered this card at an In-Color Card Class this month, a class that featured a close look at the brand new 2013-2015 In-Colors. This card contains all five new in-colors: Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, and Pistachio Pudding with some added Dazzling Diamonds.
- Stamp set: Express Yourself Hostess set
- Accessories: Floral Frames Collection framelit, Dazzling Diamonds, Heat and Stick Powder, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pak, Whisper White embossing powder, Versamark.
- To make the flower's sparkle:
- Rub Versamark ink all over your flower covering it completely.
- Apply Heat and Stick powder to the entire flower and heat it to make it sticky.
- Apply Dazzling Diamonds to the Heat and Stick powder.
- Marvel at the amazing sparkle your flower now has.
- Punch a little scallop from In-Color DSP and add it to the middle of your flower.
- Use the Express Yourself hostess set to say exactly what you want to say. This set is a versatile greetings set. Stamp this greeting on your card using Whisper White Craft Ink and then use Whisper White embossing powder to emboss your greeting.
- Wrap some Whisper White Baker's twine around your card and tie a little bow.
I love how you can see the polka dots of the DSP through the glitter. You can now take any piece of your favorite DSP and add some sparkle to it. Go ahead, add more sparkle to your life!
Head on over the Cassie's blog to see what she has for your viewing pleasure.

Really like your card, so simple. I could not see anywhere until the very end you used DSP. Was it the In-Color DSP stack? Just needed to clarify, cuz I really want to copy this one, I love it.
Try this again, don't think it took the first time! Sometimes I feel totally techie handicapped!!!
:)
Ok I love your card, but I didn't see any reference to DSP in your supplies list but down where your instructions were it was mentioned so let me know if this is not correct, but I am assuming you were using the Designer Series Paper Stack from page 152? I do plan to copy this one as I don't use glitter much either and I so love the look of it. Not crazy about the aftermath, there is always a price to pay it seems!
Love the card and I too love the glitter look, but not so happy with the evidence left behind. Just want to confirm the DSP was the In-Color DSP stack on page 152?
